Do you know a single little kid who doesn’t have a pair of “boots” that they just can’t part with? Grandma M bought Reagan her first pair of rain boots and she is so in love with them! They are the coolest things she has ever seen and she wants to wear them ALL the time! You know what—I LET HER! Why not? Some day, probably sooner they I want—she will be worrying about whether or not she has on the right shade of blue to match the skirt, to flatter the blouse, that goes with the purse that came with the earings of her favorite designer and on and on and on!!!!! They grow up so fast, and if Reagan wants to wear hot rain boots and look totally cute and ridiculous in the middle of August- so be it! Deedle- if you decide to wear your boots every single day until they fall off your feet- go for it! I love you!
OMG! Too funny. The Youngest wore ONLY rain boots for about 2 years! He just stopped wearing them 8 or 9 months ago. I was hard to send him off to kindergarten wearing anything else. He even had that same pair for a while! (BTW: they don’t last very long when they get worn every day.)
