I am a firm believer that you can never have too much education. I also know that there are area’s of my craft that constantly change. Not only does the style of photography change, but there are some “behind the scenes” tips and tricks that photographers can advance their knowledge on to make everything BETTER!
On Monday night I attended a fantastic workshop by Ed Pierce about the art of lighting. Not only are workshops such as this great for the technical information you learn, but they are SO MUCH FUN! Hopefully in the next several months I will be able to create some of the new lighting techniques I learned about. The light sources will need to be built first- they are some pretty amazing tools! I can’t wait to share it with you all!
Of course I couldn’t help but take a picture of an amazing sunset I caught along my way. This image was taken with one hand as I drove across the San Mateo Bridge in San Francisco…with one hand! So, needless to say, it isn’t the greatest work of art, but I thought it was beautiful enough to share anyhow! Take care!

OMG! The photographer that I’m working with in Colorado Springs, just invited me to attend a workshop in Denver with him next week…Guess who’s workshop we’re going to…Ed Pierce!! I just noticed that you went to see him too. I’m really excited about this new business adventure that I’m taking. If it’s okay, I’d like to add your website and blog to my blog? So all my family and friends can check out your work.
OMG. How do you watch the road and focus and frame that gorgeous photo. I would have loved to see that video tutorial. LOL. I am going to give you the nickname “Photography Daredevil”
